SAT test results are back. We did very well. We were 2nd in the County in 8th Grade and 3rd in the County in 3rd Grade. Test results will be sent home next week. You can see all the test results across the state by going to www.alsde.edu and clicking on 2004 Assessment. 

Announcement!!!!

We are now selling 1" square blocks of granite that will have your name, the name of your children, or your company name in them. They will be the patio in front of the gym. Anyone interested needs to contact Coach Johnny Green. Each block is $100.

3rd Place in County Math Competition!!
    Macedonia’s 8th grade math team won third place in the math competition at North Sand Mountain High School yesterday.  However, it was announced at the competition that another team received 3rd place. We received notification this morning that a mistake had been made, and in fact, we did deserve the 3rd place trophy. I am so proud of our 8th graders for their hard work. I regret that they did not receive the recognition that they deserved yesterday at the competition. 
We had three students who placed in the top 10 in the county:
Kyle Cooper—2nd
Jesse Presley—6th
Sarah Wilborn—10th
Congratulations to Mrs. Baldwin, sponsor,  and all the students  for a job well done.

A on State Report Card
We are proud to announce that Macedonia School made an A on the State Report Card released on March 1st. The grade was based on the ability to achievement comparison on the 2003 administration of  the Stanford Achievement Test.
